Research Area: Video Surveillance and Object Tracking

Video surveillance research addresses detection, tracking, and activity understanding in multi-camera settings—background modeling, anomaly detection, and efficient vehicle tracking across networks. This area reflects earlier MVRL work on large-scale visual monitoring prior to our current geospatial and ecology focus.
